Wiltshire won by an innings and 108 runs on the second day after Buckinghamshire followed on 192 runs behind on first innings. On the first day rain stopped play at 5.00 pm. The conditions on the second day favoured the bowlers. For the winners Sandford scored 75 and F E Newman 51. For the losers Boddy top-scored with 46. In the Buckinghamshire second innings, six batsmen were dismissed without scoring. Lowndes and Frith were absent for the morning session on the second day and could not bat because the car they were travelling in had broken down.
