Glamorgan won this return match by three wickets at 6.0 pm on the second day. The Berkshire declaration set Glamorgan a second innings victory target of 233 runs in shortly over 3 hours. The match between the two sides at Cardiff in July had also been won by Glamorgan. For the winners, there were 14 fours and 6 threes in Bancroft's 105, scored in 110 minutes. His 61 in the Glamorgan second innings included ?'4's and he reached his 50 in just over 20 minutes. Sweet-Escott's 50 contained ?'4's.
Creber took 10 wickets in the match for 202 runs, including 8 for 69 in the Berkshire first innings. For Berkshire, Rowe's 75 contained 11 fours, Watts's 55 included 12 fours, and Hutson's 53 contained ?'4's.
