Glamorgan's margin of victory by an innings and 327 runs was the largest of the season. The match ended at 1.35 pm on the second day. For the winners, their total of 489 was the highest score of the season. Similarly, Bancroft's 207 was the highest individual innings of the season and included amongst others 1 five and 10 threes. He batted for ? minutes. His 207 runs was also the highest runs aggregate by a batsman in a match during the season. Jones's 152, scored in ? minutes, contained 22 fours, 3 threes and 9 twos. He reached his century in 87 minutes. In the Glamorgan innings, Jones and Bancroft put on 223 runs for the fourth wicket. It was the highest partnership for that wicket during the season and was just 4 runs short of breaking the Championship record. Bancroft and Rees added 105 for the fifth wicket. Nash and Creber bowled unchanged through both Berkshire innings. Nash took 12 wickets in the match for 67 runs, including 7 for 22 in the Berkshire first innings.
