Hertfordshire completed their victory on the second day. During the season Arnold of Worcestershire and Thompson of Northamptonshire were also to repeat the feat. Norfolk played just four Championship matches - home and away against Hertfordshire and Worcestershire - and did not qualify for the Competition Table.
