Yorkshire 2nd XI won this return match by 10 wickets at 3.00 pm on the second day after enforcing the follow-on. The game between the two sides at Manchester in June had been drawn. For the winners, there were 6 fours in Hardisty's 66, 8 fours in Frank's 55 and 5 fours in Wilkinson's 54. Ainscough played the highest innings for Lancashire 2nd XI with 43 not out which included 6 fours.
