Demerera withdrew from the tournament as they were unable to send a team by 11th September, the date requested by the Queen's Park Cricket Club.
When there was no play on day 1 the match was extended to the Monday (the date originally scheduled for the start of the Demerera match) with it not being possible to play on the Saturday because of the gymkhana on the savannah on that day.
