Civil Defence were 20 runs behind on first innings and there was only 100 minutes left for play. FS Lee and JL Guise had to rush to catch a train and Levy changed his batting order. Wyatt put on his slow bowlers and dismissed them in seventy minutes leaving the Festival XI 30 minutes to make 63. They just failed.
