Benjamin Bell

Biography:Emigrated to Canada in 1882. Wrote for the Montreal Gazette and Montreal Daily Witness. Edited the Canadian Mining Review, the Canadian Athletic News and the Canadian Mining Manual (annual). Canadian correspondent for the Iron and Coal Trades Review and the Engineering Review and Metal Worker. He died of injuries sustained on 18 February 1904 when he unaccountably walked through the wrong door, on his way to work, and fell 10 feet into an empty elevator shaft.
