The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Dr Nasim Ashraf has shown deep regret over the sad demise of former test cricketer Mr Arif Butt. The Chairman said that Cricket has lost another one of its valuable assets. He passed on his condolences to the deceaseds widow and son and prayed for Mr Butts soul to rest in peace.
Mr Arif Butt was an all rounder who debuted his Cricket career in 1964. His debut match still remains a fond memory as he took 6 wickets against Australia in Melbourne. He became the first Pakistani to have taken 5 wickets in an innings in his first test match.
May Allah Almighty give his family strength to bear this huge loss.
