Sarwan is aiming to take over from Lara; Habibul Bashar talks about his future
An audio clip of the West Indies captain Brian Lara announcing his retirement from all international cricket after Saturdays ODI against England at Kensington Oval, Barbados, is now available for free download from the ICC CWC Media Information Service (MIS), www.icc-cricket.com/mis.
Lara says that following careful consideration he feels the time is right to stand aside and give younger players a chance. He also feels proud of what he has accomplished in his long and successful West Indies career.
