The following points emerged from the meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ad-hoc Committee held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 5 May, 2006: 
ICC World Cup 2011 
PCB Ad-hoc Committee welcomed ICC decision to hold ICC World Cup in Asia in 2011 and the Champions Trophy in Pakistan in 2008. In order to prepare stadiums to required ICC standards, the Ad-hoc Committee appealed to government to transfer the cricketing control of Pakistans international stadiums to PCB. 
National Cricket Academy 
Ad-hoc Committee also welcomed the re-opening of the National Cricket Academy under Mudassar Nazar and recommended that along with National Stadium Karachi regional academies should begin functioning as early as possible. 
Television and Sponsorship 
Ad-hoc Committee also reviewed progress on the proposal for television coverage of domestic cricket and for the encouragement of sponsorship for cricket. The Ad-hoc Committee recommended that a feasibility report for a cricket channel should be prepared by mid-June 2006. 
Screens for Stadiums 
It was decided that a report on the video replay screens to be installed on our international stadiums should be prepared by July 2006. 
Training Camp for England Tour 
The fitness and training camp for the Pakistan Team in preparation of the England Tour will be organized at Lahore in the last week of May followed by a Cricket Camp from 9-22 June, 2006. 
Jonty Rhodes 
Former South African Test cricketer Jonty Rhodes has been contracted by PCB to hone the fielding skills of the National and Junior Team players. Jonty Rhodes's stint in the Pakistan Team will begin in the second week of June and it would last about two weeks. 
At the next meeting, Ad-hoc Committee would invite National Coach Bob Woolmer, Chairman of Selectors Wasim Bari and Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq to discuss strategy approved by the Patron and related issues for the World Cup.
