1. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mr. M. Ijaz Butt has reported the whole episode of the hotel search by the British Police to the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
2. Meanwhile on request from the PCB Chairman, Pakistan High Commission has also requested the British Foreign Office to allow access to the PCB and PHC into the investigations after the arrest of the British Businessman of Asian origin for conspiracy to defraud bookmakers.
3. The Metropolitan Police have informed the ICC, ECB and PCB that their investigations continue and ICC, ECB and PCB with the involvement of the ICC Anti Corruption and Security Unit, are fully assisting those enquiries.
4. No players nor team officials have been arrested in relation to this incident and the 4th npower Test match was held as scheduled on Sunday. As the match is now subject to a police investigation neither ICC, ECB, PCB nor the ground authority, the MCC, will make any further comment until the completion of investigation.
