Malik to skipper Pakistan for UAE series

Pakistan named Shoaib Malik as the captain for the upcoming two Twenty20 match against England in Dubai, UAE.

 

However wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal was dropped after his patchy performance both with the gloves and with the bat during the tour of Australia. Sarfaraz Ahmed will don the gloves during the tour.

 

Regular captain Shahid Afridi, who is serving a two match ban, will be available for the second T20 and finds his place in the squad.

 

Pakistan is also traveling to Dubai without head coach Intikhab Alam instead former batsman Ijaz Ahmed, who is the batting and fielding coach, is likely to shoulder the extra responsibility.
