New Zealand's injury problems deepened on the eve of their clash with England after Daryl Tuffey was ruled out with a broken hand.

Already without Jacob Oram (hamstring) and Jesse Ryder (groin), Tuffey joined the growing list ahead of Tuesday's crucial group game against England.
It's essential for the Black Caps to win this match to secure a place to the last-four. Luck though does not seem to be on their way as even Ryder's replacement, Aaron Redmond, is unlikely to be available after his flight was delayed in transit from Brisbane.
Redmond is only likely to arrive in South Africa hours before tomorrow's game with that news coming shortly before Tuffey was also ruled out after breaking his hand while fielding a ball in practice.
"He broke a bone in the back of his hand. He needs to get back to New Zealand now to have surgery," said New Zealand manager Dave Currie to RadioLive.
Tuffey will be replaced in the line-up by Ian Butler, who has overcome an intestinal infection which has seen him drop eight kilograms.
