England's Claire Taylor was named the player of the tournament after England posted an easy win over New Zealand in the final.
Her average of almost 200 and a strike-rate of 135 ensured her side England take the ICC World Twenty20 title in style.
Taylor was also awarded this one at the ICC Womens World Cup in Australia earlier this year.
The 33-year-old scored 199 runs at an average of 199 and a strike-rate of 135.37 during her four innings of the tournament.
Her score of 76 not out came in a brilliant run-chase against Australia in the semi-final at the Oval and her unbeaten 39 in the final saw her team home by six wickets in front of a big Lords crowd.
The panel to decide the winner consisted of Clare Connor, member of the ICC Cricket Committee and head of womens cricket at the England and Wales Cricket Board, BBC cricket commentator Alison Mitchell, journalist Jenny Roesler, former England batsman and ICC match referee Chris Broad and tournament director Steve Elworthy.
Taylor was a little ahead of New Zealand skipper Aimee Watkins. Watkins also had a great tournament and her performance aided her side to reach the final.
This is just brilliant, said Taylor afterwards. It has been an amazing few months for English womens cricket, winning the World Cup and now this. Questions have been asked of us all the way through but we just seemed to get better and better as the tournament went on.
It has been a real team effort all the way through. Today, our bowlers set up a good chase for us and I was delighted to be there at the end. Im thrilled, she said.
