Player:T Preece

Trevor Preece played hockey and cricket for Cardiff, Barry and St.Fagan`s either side of the Great War, in addition to playing occasionally for Glamorgan.

The right-handed middle-order batsman and off-spinner made his county debut in 1902, and in 1908 he struck a career-best 73 against Carmarthenshire at Llanelli. He was still a useful batsman after the War and made one appearance for Glamorgan in first-class cricket in 1923 when the county found themselves a batsman short for their game against Lancashire at the Arms Park.

Preece retired from playing in 1925, and served as groundsman at the Arms Park until 1939.
