Brief profile of Charles Rowe

Charles Rowe spent eight years on the Kent staff, during which time he won his county cap in 1977. Rowe then joined Glamorgan for the 1982 season, and the right-handed batsman and off-spinner spent the next three years on Glamorgan`s staff.

 

Rowe passed a thousand runs in first-class cricket in 1982, and struck a hundred against Somerset at Taunton. He made some useful contributions in one-day games and won his county cap the following year. In 1984 Rowe accepted a job in the City of London and left the first-class game.
